The clients came to me after moving into a newly built home that felt beautiful but lacked personality. They wanted a vibrant yet elegant space where family and friends could gather, relax and enjoy the connection to their beautiful garden.

The challenge was to give the open-plan living and kitchen area a strong sense of identity while making every part of the space work for family life. I created a carefully considered layout, with distinct zones for cooking, entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the garden, ensuring that every corner had a purpose.

A bespoke kitchen with a generous central island became the heart of the room, while a serene blue palette flows throughout the interior. Bespoke curtains, a tailored rug, sofa, armchairs and cushions layer different tones and textures, including soft velvet and natural fibres, creating warmth and depth.

The result is a space that feels vibrant yet calm, sophisticated yet welcoming — a stylish family interior designed to be lived in, shared and enjoyed.
